Band Competition this Sat. Oct 24th @ Maplewood High School, 2pm. Featuring Whites Creek, Maplewood, Stratford, Pearl-Cohn, Shaw (Cleveland, OH) Fayette Ware (Somerville,TN) marching bands. Come out and support your school. Tickets are only $5 kids 12 and under free. In case of rain, event will be moved inside.

Come see Marching bands from Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Cleveland,Ohio, and Atlanta compete for 1st place drum major, majorettes, percussion and Grand Champion. Maplewood, Stratford and Shaw High School from Cleveland, OH are just a few of the great bands that will take the field. Tickets are $5 kids 12 and under free.

It's that time again Old School Maplewood High Stepping Band Alumni. As you know Maplewood's Homecoming is Oct. 2nd this year. Last year for homecoming Maplewood Hosted an Alumni night - which included a tailgate (c/o 91 sponsored). This year we thought we would go to the next level and ask if the Old school Battle band and all other alumni band members would like to participate in performing during this years homecoming. Let me wipe away the tears such fond memories...I have to give a shout out to all of us COLORGUARDS eventhough I did it for one yr. (1995). We had a blast...

there is always 1 person who takes comments too far. I cold have seen a jackson state move or something. and me saying the cmment about Mr. Stewart was just a figure of speech, thats my homie. im a trash talker i did it then and it wont stop now. the intro was good, but leaving the court was not that good. Show up and show out is all that im saying. go hard or stay home. i guess that was the problem when i was there too. We used to always loose to Pearl, remember lane college. im just having fun with those who take things too personal. i guess drum majors werent needed.

Ur comment don't make sense being that quite of few of us were in the band during the four years u were there Jason!! Remember...it was a drummer and majorette battle. The drum majors were there to keep order. Still talkin out the side of ur neck after all these years!LOL Gotta luv ya!!
