God is good!

I am the proud mom of a 10 year old, Diva Deja. I have been married for almost 11 years to my saving grace, Mario. I am an attorney in Oklahoma City.

The road from Maplewood........
In 1996, I did not graduate with my class. Later that year, I attained a GED in Georgia. I started undergraduate school at Clark Atlanta University. I longed for Nashville and transfered to FISK - forever on the altar! I graduated from FISK in 2001 and off to Oklahoma I went. After a year and half at University of Tulsa Law School, I came back to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University School of Law. I graduated Dec. 2003. I passed the bar in OK in July 2004.

In Sept. 2004, I opened my own law firm, Kirk Law Group. I also own a mentoring and counseling company with my husband called A Blessed Child (ABC).

Now, I spend as much time with my diva and hubby as I can. I am totally involved in my daughter's education and social life. We just finished building a new home that is handicap acessible because my mom lives with us now. I love to shop. People at Coach, Mac and Macy's know me by first name!!

All in all, life is very good. God has truly blessed this wild child from Shepardwood. I am finally walking into the things that God has had for me all along.

I wish I would have known you were going to Disneyworld for christmas. We did too. We could have hooked up. I don't know if you noticed or not, but Florida was super duper packed this year and it's usually not in December. But I guess everyone was trying to get away from the cold and bad weather.
