HEY FRED>>>JUST THOUGHT I'D TAKE A MINUTE TO HOLLER AT YOU..I'M ONTHE ROADIN OHIO AFTER BEING IN TEXAS FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS....I LOOK AT MYSELF AS A PAID TOURIST OR AN EX-G.I. THAT DONT HAVE TO WEAR THE THE UNIFORM ANYMORE,JEROME WAS IN AIR FORCE AND CHARLES MILLER WAS IN THE ARMY...THEY WERE THE FIRST TO COME TO MIND...I WAS AN E-5 WHEN I CAME OUT....I DEALT SOME PRETTY RACIST OFFICERS AND NCOS AT TIMES.. I DIMED SOME THEM OUT AND AFTERWARDS SOME OF THEM HAD IT IN FOR ME..NOW I DONT WORRY BOUT THAT NO MORE. NOW ITS BETTER TO LET GOD FIGHT THOSE BATTLES....WHEN GOD FIGHTS YOUR BATTLES YOU CANT GO WRONG....MY WIFE IS PREACHING NOW ALONG WITH TWO OF HER SISTERS AND HER MOTHER. ISAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE PICTURES OF ANDRE BANDY BUT THEY HAD A DIFFERENT NAME ON THEM>>WACINIQUE AMISTAD KAIZEN BEMENDE<< I HAD

HEY FRED>>>JUST WANTED TO HOLLER BEFORE I GO TO WORK. ISEE THERE WERE MORE CLASSMATES THAT SERVED IN THE MILITARY THAN I THOUGHT. I DID 7 YEARS IN THE ARMY BEFORE I SETTLED IN N.C. I WAS STAIONED IN IN GERMANY AND FT BRAGG
BEFORE I GOT OUT. I HAD PLANNED ON GOING BACK TO NASHVILLE WHEN I GOT OUT AND BEFORE MY TIME WAS UP I MET MY WIFE WHILE I WAS STATIONED AT FT.BRAGG,NC. WE HOOKED UP AND GOT MARRIED IN MARCH 1984. MY BROTHER IS STILL IN NASHVILLE, MY FATHER DIED IN '96, MY MOTHER MOVED ON TO
VIRGINIA>>SHE'S BEEN SICK THE PAST FEW YEARS. NOW THAT I AM DRIVING TRUCKS FOR A LIVING,IT HAS BEEN LIKE BEING BACK IN THE MILITARY BECAUSE MOST OF MY CO-WORKERS ARE
EX-MILITARY,MAINLY RETIRED.I EVEN WORK WITH GUYS I USED TO BE STATIONED WITH. I HAVE NO REGRETS ABOUT HAVING BEEN IN THE MILITARY, I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE DONE THOSE OTHER 13 YEARS TO RETIREMENT,BUT THATS LIFE.THE MILITARY IS AGOOD TEACHER ON LIFE. SPEAKING JUST FOR MYSELF I LEARNED MORE IN MY LIFETIME FROM THE MILITARY AND TRUCK
DRIVING BECAUSE IN BOTH OF THEM YOU MOVE AROUND QUITE A
BIT AND MEET APLENTY OF PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER. IN MY CASE I PICKED ON FRENCH,GERMAN AND SPANISH.. I DO LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING TOGETHER WITH MORE OF OUR CLASSMATES. GOD
HAS BEEN A BLESSING TO OUR CLASS. WITHOUT HIM A LOT US WOULD NOT BE HERE NOW. I DARE TO TO SAY THAT GOD IS GOOD
ALL THE TIME. BE BLESSED AND KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS AND
KEEP ON BEING BLESSED........SAMMY

Hey Fred we appreciate the prayers of a Godly man! That word you used has no meaning with me....I'm going to going even when I'm gone :-) You know the saying that when I'm gone it will be because there is nothing left because I've used it up. Next tuesday will be 33 years for me and i'm still able to keep up....mostly with those youngens. We had land nav training this past weekend and they thought giving me the course with the farthest distance to travel was going to cause me to say uncle. How many of the males of 76 are still around? You know I taught at the ANG NCO Academy in Knoxville from 2002- 2007 and I even did volunteer work at Maplewood with the AF Jr ROTC program and never connected with any alumni during that time. How many of us are veterans? Man there is so much it would be fun to know but seems like that may still be a while off. Good to see you are still kicking!!
