ONSITE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE FIRST EVENT ON FRIDAY, JULY 24th AT THE MAXWELL HOUSE HOTEL AT 7:00pm. THIS IS A BLACK TIE MIXER. Due to the overwhelming feedback from you all, the committe heard you and voted to change the dates of the Class Reunion from Father's Day weekend, June 19-21 to July 24-26, 2009. If you have any questions, please contact me at 615-424-2628. The itinerary for the weekend is still the same.

The dates for our class reunion will be Friday - Sunday (June 19-21). We have secured the complex for the Friday Night Black Tie Gala. We have secured the park and shelter for the Family Fun Day at the Park. We have also secured the host church for Sunday and there will be an old school grill out at my house after church on that Sunday. We tried to stay as close as we could with the price. It is actually $100 for each person who attends, so that is $200 for couples. Please make all checks payable to "Maplewood Class of 1989". Registration is now officially open and funds may be sent to 3172 Skinner Drive, Cane Ridge, TN 37013. All fees must be received with a post mark no later than Friday, June 12, 2009 to ensure your VIP registration status. This is going to be an eventful and exciting weekend that you do not want to miss. Of course, if you would like a formal invitation, please call 615-424-2628 and speak slowly as you leave the correct spelling of your name, mailing address, email address and telephone numbers. If you have any questions, please email me at dmcgahey01@tnstate.edu. For those who are interested, there will be another planning meeting this coming Friday night (MAY 15th) at 7:00pm at Logan's on Elliston Place. Call me or email me and let me know if you are interested in attending that meeting and I will add your name to the list. This messsage is to let you know that you and your reliable committee members need to keep your heads up!!!!
Keep it going and don't give up! Don't expect a huge turnout, but expect a great time, NO MATTER WHO AND HOW MANY ATTEND!!!! Remember, it will be all about the seats that are filled, and not about the one's that are empty, unless there are misfortunate circumstances like deaths of classmates. Class of 88 committee decided to shoot for the stars and have our reunion as GRAND as we wanted. And believe me, it was CLASSY!!!! Go For it!!! Plan BIG and be optimistic. Others have done it and so can the Class of 89. Email me or call me if you have any questions or need any help.
